This page describes cookies and similar technologies on cdts.com.au. It is written for this site as it is built today, not as a generic list of cookie types we might one day use.
The short version
This is a static marketing site. It does not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or a cookie-consent banner that implies we are tracking you for marketing.
- We do not set advertising, targeting or personalisation cookies.
- We do not use Google Analytics or similar analytics cookies. Site traffic is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless.
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site, may set a small number of strictly necessary security cookies to distinguish people from bots. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for the same reason.
There is no “by continuing to browse you consent to marketing cookies” claim here, because there are no marketing cookies to consent to.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a site stores on your device. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels) can do related jobs. Most of this site does not need any of them: pages are generated at build time and served as ordinary HTML, CSS and images.
What this site uses
Essential security (Cloudflare)
The site is served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may place cookies such as __cf_bm (bot management) so it can keep the site available and stop automated abuse. These are set by Cloudflare, not by CDTS application code, and they are not used to build a marketing profile.
The enquiry form on /contact/ is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile is a challenge widget, not an advertising tag. Completing it is required to submit the form.
Analytics (no cookies)
When analytics is enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It measures aggregate page views without using cookies and without collecting personal information for advertising. It does not require a consent banner under Australian Privacy Principles for that reason.
What we do not use
This site does not use:
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or similar
- Functionality cookies that remember language, region or preferences (the site has none to remember)
- Cookies to enable an online shop or payment — this site does not sell anything at checkout
If that changes, this policy will change with it.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking Cloudflare’s security cookies may make the contact form’s bot check fail, or make the site treat you as automated traffic. The rest of the public pages should still read.

We will update this page when the technologies on the site change. The “Last Updated” date above is the one to check.

This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy. It is written to the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. The site is not directed at the EU, and we do not rely on GDPR-style “browsewrap” consent for cookies we do not set.
